**Job Summary and Responsibilities** The incumbent is accountable and responsible for decontamination, instrument recognition, set assembly, dispensing carts, sterilization and documentation in all medical center and clinics as required or assigned. **Job Requirements** Required + Sterile Processing in an Operating Room and/or Endoscopy environment. + Completion of Certified Sterile Processing program. + Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or + Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor (CSPDS) or + Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) or + Certified Sterile Processing Dist Technician (CSPDT-CBSPD) + Proficient computer skills such as but not limited to basic Microsoft and keyboarding. + Proficient computer skills such as but not limited to basic Microsoft and keyboarding. + Demonstrated effective and interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. + Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instruments, assembly, packaging, sterilization, cleaning and decontamination processes and proper safety practices including infection control, body mechanics and hazardous materials. + Basic knowledge of medical supplies and record keeping. **Where You'll Work** Dignity Health, Mercy Hospital of Folsom is the community hospital serving the Sierra foothills communities of Folsom El Dorado Hills Granite Bay Cameron Park Shingle Springs and Rescue.
