Job Description

LHH is currently partnering with an organization looking for a dependable and detail-focused Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support operations at our Frederick, MD facility. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity and is essential to maintaining the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the facility. Hourly pay will range between $19-$22 per hour based on experience. SAP experience is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept, inspect, and confirm incoming deliveries by matching them with purchase orders and packing documentation
• Record, label, and track all inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy
• Package and prepare products for shipment in accordance with established shipping guidelines
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine cycle counts
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials
• Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and orderly
• Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and company procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environments
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
