Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Shift: Day Shift
• Telephone & Clinical Triage: Perform comprehensive patient assessments via telephone using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Provide safe, individualized guidance and coordinate care effectively.
• Patient Education & Advocacy: Serve as an educational resource for patients and families on health-related issues. Practice relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and partners with patients to focus on their health goals.
• Care Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate and document patient care interactions to promote the professional care delivery model. Ensure timely, accurate documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
• Clinical Collaboration: Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by working in a fiscally responsible manner that supports the healthcare team. Participate in interdisciplinary communication and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Professional Development: Maintain all professional competencies and required education. May serve as a preceptor or mentor, modeling professional nursing practice and contributing to a healthy work environment.
• Quality & Safety: Uphold all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies. Participate in evidence-based practice and data collection to ensure compliance with safety goals and standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Triage, Internal Medicine/Family Practice, Ambulatory Care, BLS
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. National certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association required prior to hire date. ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
• Experience: Experience with direct patient care is preferred. Previous experience in telephone triage, internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or an ambulatory clinic setting is highly desired.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective telephone triage.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and use technology to support clinical care.
• Must be decisive and composed.
