Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinics (Westchester County, NY)

Location: Multiple outpatient clinics throughout Westchester County, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM)

Compensation: $50–$55 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week, paid 1-hour lunch

We’re seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing outpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends or holidays.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality clinical care and patient education within a fast-paced outpatient setting. The RN works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to support diagnostic procedures, testing, and treatment plans — primarily in cardiology and related specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in alignment with clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Assist with cardiac and nuclear stress testing, ECGs, and vital sign monitoring.
• Support physicians during procedures and exams.
• Administer medications and perform injections as directed.
• Conduct patient assessments, triage calls, and patient education on disease management and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and clinical standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) required.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license in New York State .
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Outpatient or ambulatory experience in Cardiology highly preferred.
• Experience in Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine , ICU , or Emergency Department also considered.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient engagement skills.
• Proficient with EMR systems and electronic documentation.
