A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in the Bronx on a Part-time basis.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Part-time (20 hours a week)
• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical therapy consultant services on site clients/ patients
• Assess and evaluate client's condition in order to develop a physical therapy treatment plan based upon a physician's request
• Review clients treatment goals, treatment and medical history
• Perform and interpret standard muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests
• Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated
• Prepare documentation of assessment, evaluation, delivery of treatment services and patient progress for client's medical record
• Conduct a brace/shoe clinic as needed, nerve, joint and functional ability tests
• Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated
• Prepare documentation of assessment, evaluation, delivery of treatment services and patient progress for client's medical record

• Maintain a performance improvement program related to structure, process and outcomes

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience in a Clinical setting

• Active NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
