Job Description

The packer/picker is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse environment. This role involves using various tools and technologies to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment, while also maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Select and retrieve order items from storage shelves or designated locations by using barcodes, serial numbers, SKU, etc. Picked items along with the tray can vary between 15-50 lbs. The tray must be picked up from table and set to cart for distribution
• Update stock inventory after retrieving picked items
• Managing stock control, including item replenishing and storage
• Perform general warehouse duties when necessary.
• Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude every day.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understand and read basic English because the picking sheets are in English. 
• Must be able to multitask.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required
• Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: 18.50 USD -19.25 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
