Job Summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Analyst to support the Asset Management Team in their leadership of the hospitality equity investment portfolio. The Analyst role will be focused primarily on preparing financial analysis, tracking portfolio performance, crafting investor reporting, partnering with internal teams and providing actionable insights to enhance returns, mitigate risk, and support investment decision-making. This role will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, research teams, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze performance of equity holdings using financial models, market data, and portfolio reporting tools.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market activity, valuation trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Support senior asset managers with research, scenario modeling, and performance forecasting.
  • Collaborate with finance, reporting, and compliance teams to meet regulatory, reporting, and audit standards.
  • Help develop and refine investment strategies, performance metrics, and risk-management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen business relationships and to support advancing asset management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree either in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, equity research, investment banking, financial analysis, or similar role, preferably with a focus on the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques are essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, business intelligence platforms and portfolio analytics software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
