Our firm is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic design team. We are a structural design firm with a 60+ year history, consistently delivering safe and economical structures. Typical projects include ground up high-rise concrete structures throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the outer boroughs. The successful candidates shall be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and prepared to work in a true team atmosphere. This position is fully in-person, based on a 40 hour work week and all applicants should be local or willing to relocate.

Candidate Requirements:

• 0-2 years professional experience
• Has a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and relevant building codes
• Master’s degree in structural engineering or related fields with relevant course work in concrete and steel design preferred. Applicants with bachelor’s degree and relevant course work will be considered.
• Knowledge of computer software such as ETABS, SAFE, etc.
• Familiar with latest version of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet project deadlines
• Ability to working in a team environment
• Assists team in preparing construction contract documents, plans, and reports
• Willing to visit construction sites and perform rebar and concrete inspections.

Candidates may be asked to complete a brief quiz containing fundamental statics, shear and moment questions.
