As a Dishwasher at the Range Café, you are a crucial part of our guests’ experience. Our high standards of “Guest Amazement” are maintained through the effective teamwork of our team members who share and embody our values and the desire to do the very best for our guests. During the hands-on training you will receive, you will learn about cross team relationships in order to expand and diversify your skill set. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning and sanitizing tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area are essential parts of this position. These steps of service will act as a guide and reference point for your valued position as a Dishwasher at the Range Café.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Dishwasher, your job will require great multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. It is imperative that you know when and how to ask for help, as you will need it.
• Able to load, run, and unload dish machine while maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary workstation.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature, cleanliness, and sanitizer levels to ensure proper wash cycle. Maintain adequate levels of detergents, sanitizer, and cleaning supplies. Communicate any needs immediately to the leadership team, to ensure that all equipment and working environment is kept in excellent and safe working condition.
• Air dry and properly store all tableware, kitchenware, and equipment.
• Maintain adequate stock of clean and sanitized tableware, kitchenware, and equipment.
• Bag and haul trash to dumpster at assigned times.
• Ensure tableware is in proper condition and report any poor condition of tableware and equipment to leadership team.
• Ensure tableware is not being disposed of in trash.
• Handle all tableware and equipment properly to prevent breakage and loss.
• Be knowledgeable and follow all company policies and procedures.
• We are a team and work as a team. Provide assistance throughout restaurants whenever needed. Perform any related duties as assigned by leadership team.
• Perform opening and closing duties following any checklist and assist team in efficiently and quickly doing so.
• Assist team with assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Maintain open lines of communication between the leadership team. Always embody the core values of the Range Café and be an active team member in the positive culture we are creating to support our team and to reach our goal of total guest amazement. QUALIFICATIONS:

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Must be able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with leadership, culinary, and hospitality teams. Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must possess, understand, and utilize a sense of urgency, and be able to work at a fast and efficient pace.
• Be able to lift, reach bend, stoop, and able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, (up to 9 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver ware and equipment frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
• Be able to multitask.
