Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a well-established general contractor delivering projects throughout Greater Boston . This role will lead field operations on a range of commercial, multifamily, and healthcare projects, partnering closely with project management and subcontractor teams to deliver high-quality work safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
• Manage daily field operations, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
• Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Coordinate inspections, logistics, and material deliveries
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and look-ahead schedules
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers to resolve field issues
• Lead and mentor field staff while fostering a strong, team-oriented jobsite culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial, multifamily, or healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
• Experience working in active or occupied environments preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 preferred
