Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer - $3001/Weekly

Department: 02*6102 : MORRISTOWN*CARDIAC OR

Number of Positions: 4

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift 1) Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat: 8a-6p

2)Mon through Friday 12p-8p

3)Tuesday through Saturday: 6:30a-2:30p

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• -Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• -Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
• -Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

• -Experienced Sonographer to perform high quality Adult Echo studies as per ASE & IAC Guidelines in a premiere cardiac center .
• -Dedicated inpatient echo work experience is a must. Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.
• -Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
• -Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
• -Ability to work independently, recognize abnormalities and quickly respond to critical findings.
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
• -TEE and Stress Echo experience.
• -Familiarity with 3D echo imaging.
• -TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, closure device protocols.
• -Maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards.
• -Experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems.
• -Familiarity with Epic hospital information system.
