About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting product safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role involves local/regional deliveries, excellent customer service, and professional representation of our company.
Responsibilities
· Safely operate a 26 ft box truck
· Manage product hauling pickup and deliveries for Top Furniture Installation Co.,
travel throughout Center City Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
· Must be able to handle daily status updates, etc. throughout each phase of loading,
unloading, traveling, etc. to Operations Manager via cell phone.
· Navigate using GPS systems or maps to find the most efficient routes.
· Ability to operate lift gate and pallet jack and possible driver assist when needed.
Skills
· Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card (No CDL required)
· Clean driving record-with no accidents in the past year
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Strong time-management skills
· Experience driving a box-truck preferred but not required
· Must pass background check and drug screening (if applicable)
